Upgrading Characters

In order to upgrade a character, the player will need to collect joules from defeated enemies. Each joule holds specific attributes, depending on the level of the joule. For example, a 1-joule could be a shield upgrade; 2-joules may have a shield upgrade and an agility upgrade, etc.
